Info (1991)  by Yoshimoto Nara

"Info" (1991), a part of the Aomori Museum of Art collection, is drawn with pen and colored pencil on lined paper. This artwork depicts various subjects, all expressing emotions. In the top left corner, a man is drawn with a black marker, featuring distinct eyebrows, eyes, and mouth. Next to him is a small girl with a smiling face. Despite her large smile, the shape of her expression suggests a sense of awkwardness. Nara also colors her hair a vibrant yellow, providing the only colored element in the top half of the drawing. The second half of the artwork introduces more color with the word "Info" drawn, indicating that there is additional information on this portion. An animal appears to be pinched, yet there are no extreme emotions depicted on its face.
