The Raindrops' “Jubilee” Vinyl

6

This record is The Raindrops’ 1963 album, “Jubilee”. The vinyl has “Even Though You Can’t Dance” and “The Kind of Boy You Can’t Forget”. The Raindrops were a popular 60s group based out of New York.

The 7 inch vinyl has a black label with “jubilee” surrounded by multicolor triangles. The triangles are organic and look hand drawn which add some dimension to flat black and sans serif type. More information about the album is written on the left, right, and bottom in light gray.

The vinyl would have been made by pressing vinyl under intense heat and pressure, and then adding the label afterwards. There are slight grooves on each side that allow for different songs to be played by putting the vinyl on a record player.People would have used this to listen to The Raindrops’ album on a record player.
