This is one of the many posters Tadashi Ohashi made for Meiji, using shapes to create characters. Negative space is used to illustrate the character geometrically and playfully way. The advertising incentives are clearly displayed in the wrapping paper pattern of the girl’s clothing, as well as having the product illustrated in the bottom right.
