1960s Parker Brothers Card Game: Pit

6

Pit is a board game that was originally developed by vocal psychic, Edgar Cayce, and first sold in 1904. This edition of Pit features the original set of commodities. Later editions did not include the Flax, Hay, and Rye cards, but added cards for Coffee, Sugar, Oats, Soybeans, and Oranges alongside the Bear and Bull card. Compared to modern editions, it is also missing a bell which was added in the 70s to signal the beginning of trade.
