This is an advertisement for the cosmetic company Shiseido for their rouge-colored lipstick. It was designed by Maeda Mitsugu. The poster highlights the rouge lip coloring by placing it against a montone background. The artists use of white lines on a black background and the depiction of the woman’s gestures expresses a chic, modern beauty aesthetic.
