“Prevent Hepatitis by Washing.”

This artwork is a propaganda poster from the Chinese Cultural Revolution era, titled "Prevent Hepatitis by Washing," created around 1970. Initiated by Mao Zedong in 1966, the Cultural Revolution spanned from 1966 to 1976. Mao urged the youth of China to aid in eradicating capitalist ideologies and bourgeois thoughts from governmental, educational, media, and artistic spheres while revitalizing the revolutionary fervor.
