This poster was made by Tadanori Yokoo in 1966. Tadanori Yokooo applied the adaptation of Western Modernism after the postwar such as bright colors, flat images, and pop iconography to his graphic design work while blending the line between fine art and mass advertisement. He experimented later in his career with brushstrokes, overlapping multiple screens, heavy drawings, and multiple-dimensional collages.
The poster itself is lively and flat with the way the imagery is collaged on top of each other. The bright colors and scenes depict summertime and aims to highlight the refreshing qualities of Asahi Beer during any summertime activity.
