Mitsuo Katsui was one of the leading graphic designers in Japanese graphic design especially in exploring digital design as a form of expression. He is involved in many aspects of graphic design and worked as the art director for international exposition including Japan World Exposition in Osaka 1970. His style in graphic design came from his obsession with cameras during his student days. His fascination with light and colors grew into his colorful and abstract works that we see today.
