This poster was created by the Beehive Design collective as a part of a tryptic to shed light on the communities from Mexico to Colombia that were destroyed in the 15th century when America was colonized. Even though these areas were colonized nearly 400 years ago, the devastation of local communities and ecological diversity is still relevant today. The poster highlights the idea of communities coming together to discuss their common issues and plan of action. There is a large and diverse number of animals represented in the piece, including several reptiles, amphibians, insects, mammals, and even the remains of some extinct species. Some of the animals hold material items, such as a pen and paper, a microphone, a guitar, and a video camera to represent the act of documenting the conversation and spreading the word.
