La Noticia is an independent news organization that operates both digitally and in print. It has been providing local news in Spanish to the Latino community in Charlotte for the past 26 years. They cover issues and events that affect the Charlotte community. The website was created in 1999, and the image shown dates back to 2007, a year before the recession of 2008. As you can see, while text and hierarchy were still used effectively, design wasn't a primary focus at that time.
