Nikon Camera Poster

This is a Nikon camera poster designed by Kamekura Yusaku. Kamekura Yusaku has designed several notable works such as the Tokyo Olympics posters and logo designs such as NTT Company and Meiji Company. His style is heavily influenced by the International Typographic Style or Swiss Style, which proved useful for companies for marketing use due to its minimalism and functionality. This poster displays several characteristics of the Swiss Style, such as the use of geometric shapes, the placement of items on a modular grid, the use of sans serif type, and left justification. Many of these characteristics are used as a basis for typography and design today.
