Canon T90 Tank Catalog (1986)

10

This catalog was designed in 1986 to promote Canon's new film camera, the Canon T90 TANK. The debut of the Canon T90 was something of a miracle, as many Camera users at the time were not expecting any new significant advances in camera technology, such as the motor drive being part of the camera body itself, and being able to film 4.5 pictures per second. On top of this, the world renowned German industrial designer Luigi Colani was responsible for the design of the camera itself. The photograph on the catalog depicts both the round and sharp edges of the camera, and the futuristic feel the camera gives. The simple black backdrop makes the black camera body look like it's floating in outer space.
