Canon A-1 Catalogue (1978)

10

This is a page from the catalog promoting the Canon A-1 film camera published in July of 1978. The elite film camera was the first cannon camera to use a digital computer processor for many of its functions. In the same year the A-1 was introduced to the market, the very first Star wars film was released in the theaters of Japan. Cannon promoted it's new camera the Canon A-1 by collaborating with Star wars, using similar fonts and graphics as the movie did. The picture shows the camera as if it is a starship traveling through space.
