Ueno-Asakusa Subway Brings Together the Latest Scientific Advances
This 1927 poster designed by Hisui Sugiura promotes the opening of the Tokyo Underground Railway. It depicts men, women, and children lined up to use the railway and features various typefaces as well as colors in its design. Outside of the people, the poster is composed mainly of straight lines in different angles to create depth and dimension.
