Mitsukoshi Gofukuten new building completed
This was a 1914 promotional poster made by Hisui Sugiura for the Mitsukoshi Gofukuten Design Department. The poster features an angelic like woman flying above the Tokyo skyline and Mt. Fuji. Her wings are ornamented with various patterns and the style in which she's depicted is influenced by the “modern woman”.
