The map is part of a guidebook to Camp Blanding which is located in Clay County, Florida. In 1944 the site was a major U.S. Army training facility where many soldiers were trained during the Second World War. The booklet contains detailed descriptions of services and facilities available to soldiers that were stationed at Camp Blanding. The map was useful as its illustrations and information about the base and surrounding area were detailed and comprehensive.
