Hisui Sugiura, 'Shinjuku Mitsukoshi completed, opens October 10'

This is a poster by Sugiura Hisui in 1930, for the opening of Mitsukoshi in Shinjuku. The influence of Art Nouveau and Art Deco are present in the architecture as well as the decorative elements of the poster. The duo color palette and engaging composition demonstrate his stylish simplicity.
