Nagajuban

850

This is a Nagajuban-style garment made in Japan, considered to be "kimono underwear" and worn underneath the Nagajuban. Hadajuban has tube-shaped sleeves and is worn with a slip-like wrap tied around the waist. Hadajuban is not always worn underneath a kimono and may be substituted for a t-shirt and shorts in the modern day. Men and Women wore these in Japan as equals in society.
