This logo of the Japanese animation studio, Studio Ghibli, was designed by one of its founders and main film director Hayao Miyazaki between 1985 and 1991. It presents the fictional character Totoro in the background, from the studio's early film production “My Neighbor Totoro となりのトトロ” (1988), and remains the studio's featured logo. The logo was produced on photoshop for its lettering, using the font MS PGothic (MS Pゴシック) and ITC Avant Garde Gothic Medium. It remains minimalistic, with no details or color added in. This logo and character is easily recognizable by fans as it covers screens at the beginning of every Studio Ghibli film.
