Following the Second World War, the resurgence of Japanese industries led to a high demand for graphic design to showcase emerging products and services. Apart from creating Canon's logo, Itoh designed packaging and posters for the camera company, including this particular piece introduced in 1956, where the Canon camera company's logo takes center stage.
