Bauhaus Design for a Newspaper Kiosk

705

This image is a design of a newspaper kiosk by Herbert Bayer in 1924. Unlike the typical newspaper kiosk in the 1920s, Bayer’s Bauhaus design of a newspaper kiosk represents more of the news station architectural design we have today, highlighting the Bauhaus influence on the modern buildings. Primary colors such as blue, red, yellow and San Serif fonts were used to create a more neutral tone to the building.
