Francois-Edmond Fortier, a French photographer and artist, took this photograph and created a postcard with it. Back in the day, these photographs of Africans were used on the Western sides and throughout Europe for communication to show the rich culture of Africa and the arts Africans always did and portrayed. This model of such postcards made the world appreciate the African style better. Modern visual communication has grown significantly as a result of African art

This photograph was taken in Senegal, and the design piece was released in France.
