Lithograph poster design by undefined artist, “Hönich" in Germany. Made as propaganda to pursuade farmers to produce more crops in the midst of war famine during WW1. Features gothic style text in German on the bottom of the poster, and uses red and black ink for subtext and imagery. The scene depicts a sorrowful German family in the absence of food, which in conjunction with the text, emphasized the need for faster and larger agricultural productivity.
