King County Seattle logo design

78

King County (Seattle, Washington) was originally named for Vice President-elect William Rufus de Vane King (1786–1853) but was later evolved to represent and stand for Martin Luther King, Jr.

This logo was in use until 1971, when it was updated for more legibility and distinction.
