The opening title sequence for Michael Arias’ masterpiece, Tekkonkinkreet (the alternative US title). It is an abstract film, a conflict animation, a bright motion graphic, a landmark in terms of what it achieves. The craft on display is breath-taking and it pushes the art form that deserves mainstream acclaim and acceptance and once seen, is something it is impossible to ever forget.
