OutCharlotte '95 Booklet
This is a booklet designed to advertise the OutCharlotte pride festival in 1995. The festival acted as a space to promote LGBT culture and performers under its wing. It featured many artists, writers, and musicians who shared their perspectives on being queer during an unjust era. This festival was vital to give LGBT folk a place where their voices could be heard, especially during a time when same-sex activity and marriage were outlawed. The headline uses a script typeface and the body text uses a serif typeface. This combination, along with its purple highlights, gives the publication a classy and elevated feel. The festival was hosted from 1995 to 2001.
