Vogue Cover 2012

Here is  a woman’s magazine that I came across when researching early French type and found the font Didot. I find this magazine cover very interesting because it is geared towards women and it is such a staple magazine in many woman’s life. It is interesting to see how such a classic timeless font has lasted so many years, and is so recognizable to women, I also think that this magazine is really important for women’s design, because of the fact that it is ran by Anna Wintour, a woman. As many women’s fashion magazines are not ran by a woman. The use of type hierarchy and styling on the magazine in eye catching and the use of the cold red catches the consumers eye and frames the model nicely.
