1939 — New York World's Fair Seal Design Proof

I really think this is a great piece of not only graphic design history but NYC history as well. From what I can tell this seal concept is for the 1939 world's fair. I love the minimal style of this which feels even now very modern. The continuous line work really adds a special quality especially forming the seals boarder and coming from the torches flame.  It is also interesting to see the proof marks and New York World's Fair  Board of Design info.
