Concert ticket

Tickets for cultural and other events have become an established part of security printing in recent times.

Here we have a ticket for a presentation by the Ensemble Intercontemporain as part of the Nuits de Fourvière in the Gallo-Roman amphitheatre in Lyon, France. The overlapping of the three colour blocks on the left hand side and the detail of the background suggest that it was digitally printed in three colours (plus black), simulating a rainbow printing effect. Combined with the ‘Billetel’ overlay it's enough to put off all but the most determined forger.
