Chinese calligraphy is an art form that has deep cultural significance. The strokes, character composition, and overall balance in Chinese calligraphy are highly valued.  Different writing systems, languages, and scripts have unique typographic characteristics that need to be considered to ensure legibility and convey the intended message. What we consider to be good typographical hierachy varies for different writing systems according to their intended direction of reading.
