Original illustration for an advertisement for Suze apéritif and liqueur. The presentation (bottle and label) of the Suze gentian apéritif has hardly changed since.
The document comes from the archives of the now defunct printing firm of B. Arnaud in Villeurbanne in the South-East of France who would have printed it litho. The archives are now in the collections of the Musée de l'imprimerie et de la communication graphique, Lyon (Micg inv 4721).
