Elizabeth Resnick visited John Maeda at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Media Laboratory to discuss his career and his vision for digital media in the early spring of 2000. At the time, Professor Maeda—head of MIT’s Aesthetics and Computation Group—had a mission to take computing technology out into the design community.
